Seeds – organic beets

Fresh organic Chioggia beet seeds

If you have never tasted home-grown beets, you should. Start from seeds…

Organic grower Laura Watt from Toronto brings Chioggia beets – named for the port town in Italy. A sweet tasting beet that when sliced, shows concentric red and white rings of color. Colors do not bleed.

100+ Certified organic seeds per pack.

Planting instructions: Plant 1/4-inch deep, spaced 1-2-inches apart. Best started indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost. In mild winter climates beet seeds can be grown year round planted directly in the ground.

Note: Each of the seeds will produce two plants. After germination, gently pull one of the new seedlings from the ground, leaving the other to grow to full maturity.

Moderate water. Full sun. 90 days.
