Air plant pods

These handcrafted air plant pods by Michael McDowell are made of mustard glazed stoneware ceramic. Each pod comes with a generous amount of natural hemp cord ready to hang.

Because they are high fired, you can hang them outdoors, but make sure to bring your air plants inside during cold temperatures.

Air plants are tropical plants that live high in the tree tops and live on rain. Be sure to mist your plant at least once a week and provide plenty of sunshine. Air plant pods make it easy to hang your air plants by a sunny window.

Each air plant pod arrives gift packaged and makes the perfect house warming present. Amazing individually or hung in groups. You can also display these right side up on a shelf or table just by taking the cord and hanger out.

I live and work in beautiful Denver, Colorado with my two studio assistants Ennis and Konrad, my dogs. My objective is to handcraft beautiful, well made ceramic objects for your home.
